GROUP CLASSES
BEGINNER THROUGH TO ADVANCED
You will be placed in a suitable class dependent on your dogs level of education. All classes train through the Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards
KENNEL CLUB GOOD CITIZEN AWARDS
The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme is the UK's largest dog training programme and promotes responsible dog ownership, by teaching owners to train their dogs for everyday life situations.
There are 3 levels available:
- Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each level builds on exercises and skills learnt in previous levels.
ADVANCED CLASSES
After receiving your gold award, you will be welcome to stay on to the advanced class. Here you will learn more obedience challenges, and many members go on to compete in competitive obedience.

PRE/NEW PUPPY CONSULTATIONS
Are you getting a new puppy and want to get things right from the very start? Let us show you how - after all preventing an issue is a lot easier than solving one!
PUPPY COURSES
FOUNDATION COURSE
A 7 week course suitable for puppies 6 months and under. The course is designed to help you and your puppy learn the foundation skills to set you both on the road to success. With a maximum of 10 puppies and 3 trainers, we ensure you all receive individual attention. Weekly handouts complement each session so you have something to refer to in between sessions and at the end of the course your clever pup will receive a certificate to commemorate their attendance.
PUPPY IMPROVER COURSE
A 6 week course for puppies over 6 months, or following on from the puppy course. The course is designed to build upon the relationship between dog and owner, ensuring you are the main focus of their attention.
We teach you more handling skills and increase the level of distractions so that you can control your puppy in a variety of situations.
TRAINING TOP UPS
FOR ANY AGE DOG
available from July 2024
Held at Kembroke Kennels on Thursdays between 9.45am - 10.45am.
Sign up for 5 weeks at a time.
Maximum of 8 dogs each week.
Activities dependent on puppies present but may include:
Socialisation, walks, controlled play, work amongst distractions and general training and obedience.
Ideal for groups of friends who want to train together, those who can't make it to Tunstall or those that simply need a training top up.
